NOMINATE ME for the BAD DAY AWARD PLEASE

Everything that could GO wrong certainly did and I am not really complaining but just putting it out there for the whole world.

Actually my BAD DAY started Sunday Night and spilled over in to MY ENTIRE MONDAY.

I called MY MOM to find OUT how her Weekend was going. MY MOM and MY Aunt went to the Beach for the Weekend to get the THE BEACH HOUSE decorated for Christmas. They were HAVING such a GOOD time. They put up the Christmas TREE and made ORNAMENT'S from SHELLS and SEA GLASS. They have TONS of SEA GLASS in bowls around the Beach House. (IT is a Family Beach house Owned by My Uncle). They were outside and MY MOM FELL!

SHE road home which is about 45 minutes or maybe a little bit more to my MOMS and DADS house and she said she was just really cold and TIRED.

I talked to my Dad last night and he said he thought MAYBE she had sprained her ankle and he would call her Doctor first thing Monday to get an appointment to have her seen this afternoon.

FAST FORWARD to 7:00 am this MORNING

I call the house and ask my DAD how is MOM doing. HE INFORMS ME THAT he is calling an AMBULANCE because BOTH her ANKLES are very swollen and HE CAN NOT MOVE HER.

The paramedics arrive and decide that they think SHE HAS INDEED SPRAINED BOTH ANKLES and SO SHE GETS A RIDE IN THE AMBULANCE!

HOURS GO BY and I CALL MY DAD OOO about ONE THOUSAND times today to find OUT what the HECK is going ON! TRULY I THINK I ANNOYED HIM BUT HEY SHE GAVE BIRTH TO ME AND I HAVE RIGHTS! OK I really have to keep a sense of humor over all this because MY FRIENDS if I do not I will truly LOOSE IT!

FAST FORWARD to 2:00 pm.....MY MOM is finally admitted in to the HOSPITAL because SHE BROKE BOTH ANKLES!

BOTH ANKLES ARE BROKEN! NOT ONE BUT YES BOTH ANKLES!

Right now she HAS TWO CASTS ON and we will find out about surgery. ONE is a VERY NASTY break. The other not as bad but still bad enough.

OK IN BETWEEN all that I was busy with MY HUSBAND because he is having EYE problems and has so much pressure built up on his RIGHT EYE THAT he could NOT see out of it! YEAH!!!!! WE are DEALING with that at the MOMENT! NOT to WHINE or anything because I know it all will be OK....I know it WILL! I was at the DOCTORS office with him FRANTICALLY calling MY DAD, MY AUNTS, MY BROTHER and MY SISTER IN LAW to get news on my MOM!

I managed to annoy every single person with my CALLS but again I am stuck here in purgatory...I mean GEORGIA....while there IS so much going on at HOME. SO I felt I had the RIGHT to call and INQUIRE about MY POOR MOTHERS CONDITION.

I finally WAS ABLE to TALK to HER BRIEFLY at 8:30 tonight. SHE sounded very TIRED and exhausted. SHE does not know how long she will be in the HOSPITAL and ONE DOCTOR MENTIONED a NURSING HOME FOR REHAB. MY MOTHER will HAVE a panic attack if she has to go to a NURSING HOME FOR REHAB. I know my MOM!

Late this evening I talked with MY AUNT who is just Seven years OLDER than me (she was with my MOM at the Beach house and all day today at the Hospital) and she TOLD ME that she thinks I need to come home NOW.

FAST FORWARD to MY HUSBAND.....HE IS GETTING ON MY NERVES because he does not want to pull OUR child out of SCHOOL and DOES NOT WANT ME TRAVELING ALONE with MY TWO NATIVES! HELLO I WILL BE 40 YEARS OLD IN A MONTH! SO we had a spat and I decided that yes this was good enough drama to post on my blog. (YES I AM BREAKING THE BLOGGING LAWS OF MY HUSBAND)

So it looks like I may be traveling NORTH this week! NORTH of Georgia anyway! We shall see if the week gets any better.

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT NOT ONE broken ankle but TWO. SO seriously I get the REALLY BAD DAY award! OK MY DEAR MOM SHOULD GET it actually now that I think of it.

Well I better start packing!
